God brought me home by canceling my suicide.

On January 1st of this year, 2023, I tried to end my life.

What I saw as my absolute rock bottom moment, God used as my turning point.

In the ER, He surrounded me with believers: a sitter from Biola University, a PA who shared her walk with Jesus and invited me to her church, a Physician who sent me home with a “Jesus, I trust in you” card after I had already been medically cleared and checked out. God had begun swirling around me.

A few days into January, the same toxicity hit and the door to the enemy opened. I reached out to the two believers I had in my phone and one drove right over to pray with me and invite me to her local church.

Saying yes was the best decision I’ve ever made.

This church community has given me hope, faith, a new living situation, a new family, new friends, a community with an entirely different mindset—one to come alongside of me, to hold me up in my struggles and to uplift me when God’s wind of prosperity is propelling me forward.

If you or anyone you know is seeking a community and don’t have a church to reach out to, the staff of Oceans Church in Irvine, CA—second campus in San Juan Capistrano, CA— want to help connect you with a great local church near you. Don’t be afraid to reach out— the devil is a liar💗
